The Story

Control is an illusion.

Strings of the Puppets is being developed as a slow-burn psychological horror novel where what is remembered, what is witnessed, and what is true do not always agree.

At the center of the story is Dylan Marks, drawn into questions that become harder to dismiss the deeper he looks. Mistway does not give up its history willingly, and the past surrounding his family begins to feel less like history and more like a mechanism still in motion.

The novel explores the discomfort of not knowing whether a decision was truly yours, whether a memory can be trusted, or whether the people closest to you are acting from love, fear, obligation—or something else entirely.
